Since 2004 Mario Basevi is following a PhD on “Applied research in social sciences” at University “La Sapienza” of Rome; he earned a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and a Master Degree in Statistics. He collaborate with the Universities of L’Aquila, Rome and Pisa on socio-economics research and training activities.

His research interests deal with multidimensional analysis, network analysis, multi method approach and simulations in social science. At the present he is working on “Global industries and international trade: a small world structure” with Professor Biggiero and he is improving his knowledge on Agent-Based Simulation.

He also works ad methodological and statistical consultant for some private companies.
