Lucio Biggiero is Full Professor of Organisation
Science at the Department SIE (Systems and Institutions
for the Economy) of
the University of L'Aquila (L'Aquila, Italy). He
participated in several national and international research
projects. He wrote papers on the following journals:
Computational & Mathematical Organization Theory; Entrepreneurship & Regional Development; Human Systems
Management; Industry and Higher Education; International
Journal of Technology Transfer & Commercialization; International
Review of Sociology; Journal of Financial Decision Making;
Journal of Management and Governance; Journal of Management
Studies; Journal of Technology Transfer; Nonlinear Dynamics,
Psychology and Life Sciences; Science and Public Policy;
Systemica. His main interests are in the following fields:
behavioural methods of decision making; industrial clusters/districts;
(inter-)organisational design theory and methods;
coordination theory; socio-cognitive aspects of
organisational behaviour (trust, identity, norms, reputation);
organisational consequences of computer-mediated
communication; methodology and epistemology of organisation
science. He applies the following main methodologies:
outranking methods for decision making; social network
analysis; data analysis; agent-based simulation models.
