Antonio Mastrogiorgio is a PhD student in Management at University of Bologna; he earned his BSc cum laude in Business Economics at University of Molise and his MA in Economics at University of Rome “TorVergata”. He collaborates with Prof. Lucio Biggiero in research and training activities at University of L’Aquila and LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome.

His research interests deal with the application of agent-based simulation and network analysis to the study of the organization of social and economic systems from the Complexity paradigm perspective. At present he’s developing an agent-based simulation to generate a universe of hierarchical graphs (described by three variables: span of control, number of units, number of hierarchical levels) in order to analyze the network measures of Centrality in the space of the variables.

Furthermore he works as business consultant; in 2001 he was awarded of the Philip Morris Marketing Prize.
