Knownetlab has been created in 1998 under the direction of Lucio Biggiero, Full Professor of Organization Science at the University of L'Aquila (IT).
Knownetlab is a group of researchers who experienced common work in social or natural sciences by using frontier methodologies, that can face with complex systems and networks.

Knownetlab carries out research, consultancy and training projects in some fields of social and natural sciences. In social sciences the main issues concern organization science, knowledge management, computer-mediated-communication technologies, local systems, innovation and inter-organizational networks and international trade. In natural sciences Knownetlab can work applying network analysis, Boolean network and agent-based simulation modeling for biology and medicine. Finally, sustainable development, which is indeed at the cross between social and natural sciences, is also another field of interest.
